The Philippines is set to make another strong showing at this year’s AXEAN Festival, with ALYSON, PLAYERTWO, and Novocrane joining the lineup for the 2026 edition of the Southeast Asian music showcase and conference.

Scheduled to take place from August 29 to 30, 2026 at Jimbaran Hub in Bali, Indonesia, the annual gathering brings together emerging and established artists from across the region, serving as a platform for cross-border collaboration and music industry networking.

For The Rest Is Noise PH, one of the festival’s Philippine partners, the selection of three Filipino acts reflects the continued rise of local talent on the regional stage. “It’s especially meaningful for us to continue creating opportunities that connect Filipino artists with international audiences, industry professionals, and new markets,” The Rest Is Noise PH co-founder MC Galang said in a press statement.

Leading this year’s Philippine contingent is ALYSON — the five-piece outfit known for their blend of the city pop and Manila sound genres, as well as their energetic live performances. They are joined by alternative hip-hop collective PLAYERTWO and indie rock band Novocrane, both of whom have steadily built audiences through their distinct approaches to their respective genres and songwriting.

The artists will perform alongside a diverse roster of acts from across Southeast Asia and beyond. Indonesia’s lineup includes Ndarboy Genk, Jo Soegono, Basajan, LOR, Babon, Satu Per Empat, Emptyyy, and Noni, while Malaysia will be represented by Masdo, Pitahati, and Lil Asian Thiccie x dj magn3sium. Singapore’s Subsonic Eye and sub, Thailand’s Yellow Fang, INSPIRATIVE, SLOWWVES, and Cupnoodle, as well as Scamper from Macau and Treaks from France, have also been announced.

Beyond its live music programming, AXEAN Festival continues to position itself as a key meeting point for the region’s music industry. This year’s edition will feature conference sessions, networking opportunities, and a songwriting camp designed to foster creative exchange among artists, producers, and industry professionals.

Organizers are also introducing a new food and beverage concept inspired by Southeast Asia’s hawker centres and food courts, highlighting the region’s diverse culinary traditions alongside its music culture.

Since launching in 2020, AXEAN Festival has grown into one of Southeast Asia’s leading music industry events. Across six editions, the festival has showcased more than 200 artists from 20 countries, attracting over 46,000 virtual viewers and nearly 18,000 in-person attendees.

Additional performers, speakers, and program details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with tickets available for purchase here.
