Drake has officially overtaken Michael Jackson’s record as the solo male artist with the most No. 1 songs in Billboard Hot 100 history.
The Canadian rapper-singer recently scored his 14th Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with “Janice STFU” from his latest album, ICEMAN, breaking the tie he previously shared with Jackson — a record the King of Pop had held for more than 35 years.
Coincidentally, Drake also paid tribute to Jackson on his ICEMAN album, reportedly spending six figures to feature his iconic Swarovski crystal-studded glove as the centerpiece of its cover art.
With the recent achievement, Drake now ties Taylor Swift and Rihanna for the third-most No. 1 hits in history, trailing Mariah Carey with 19 No. 1s and The Beatles with 20.
The milestone follows Drake’s ambitious three-album drop on May 15, 2026, which included his much-anticipated ninth studio album, ICEMAN, alongside two surprise projects, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR. Delivering a staggering 43 songs in a single day, it cemented Drake’s dominance across major streaming platforms and music charts worldwide.
Differing in sound and concept, ICEMAN takes a more rap-focused approach, largely reflecting Drake’s widely discussed conflict with Kendrick Lamar and his ongoing issues with Universal Music Group. In contrast, HABIBTI showcases a more romance-driven sound, while MAID OF HONOUR pushes for a more experimental sound.
Marking another historical milestone, Drake also became the first artist ever to simultaneously hold the top three spots with ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR on the Billboard 200 chart, dated May 30, 2026.
His previous No. 1 hits include “What’s My Name?” and “Work” with Rihanna, “One Dance” with Wizkid and Kyla, “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What,” “In My Feelings,” “Toosie Slide,” “What’s Next,” “Way 2 Sexy” with Future and Young Thug, “WAIT FOR U” with Future and Tems, “Jimmy Cooks” featuring 21 Savage, “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole, “Slime You Out” featuring SZA, and his latest chart-topper, “Janice STFU.”
