Filipino blues trio AME have released their debut album, Kwentong Barbero, under evosound Philippines.

The Marikina-based trio brings their blues-infused rock ’n’ roll sound with themes of everyday Filipino life and working-class struggles highlighted in their songwriting and storytelling.

As one of the few acts in the local music scene performing under the genre, the trio has carved out its niche, balancing classic blues sound, ‘70s psychedelic rock, and contemporary punk edge with modern OPM.
