G22 is heating up the summer season after teasing the music video for “Groove On” ahead of the trio’s first-ever solo concert coming this July.
On May 13, the P-pop girl group shared a teaser photo on their social media, featuring a bright blue car set against a vibrant pink-and-orange backdrop. Members AJ, Alfea, and Jaz posed around the vehicle, while Jaz’s back revealed the group’s new logo alongside the title “Groove On” and the date “05.24,” immediately sparking speculation among Bullets, the group’s fandom.
A day later, on May 14, the trio posted another teaser photo confirming the upcoming music video for “Groove On.” Captioned “Get in, girl. G22 summer is coming,” the follow-up post showed the members aboard the car with their hair blowing in the wind, embracing a colorful, carefree summer concept.
The rollout continued over the weekend as the trio unveiled individual teaser photos embracing a sun-soaked, summer-inspired concept.
Jaz turned up the temperature with a pink-themed bedroom set, posing on a fluffy pink carpet while holding a blower to her signature blonde hair. Her teaser caption read, “You’re not getting out of her grip. She’s about to turn this heat all the way up.”
Meanwhile, Alfea embraced a backyard cookout concept, standing beside a flaming grill while holding a hose and showing off her bright ginger hair. Her teaser came with the caption, “Sizzle or drizzle? The choice is yours. She’s ready to serve both.”
Completing the concept, AJ sported a road trip-inspired shoot featuring the same bright blue car, complete with an overheating hood. Her caption teased, “Too hot and too fast for ya? She’s gonna make everything overheat… including you.”
Released under Cornerstone Entertainment, “Groove On” is among the eight tracks from their debut studio album, The Dissection of Eve, which dropped in November 2025. It also features tracks such as “Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban” and “Filipina Queen,” further establishing their fierce and empowering sound.
The teaser arrives ahead of their THE EVE OF AN ALPHA: The First Concert on July 12, 2026 at the New Frontier Theater, serving as the girl’s first-ever solo concert. It follows their December 2025 album showcase at Quantum Skyview in support of The Dissection of Eve.
