Apo Hiking Society are set to headline ‘Wish Date: Rewrite’ on April 12, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, alongside Over October and rising singer-instrumentalist Aquila Packing — presented by Wish 107.5 and KDR Music House.
The 20th edition of ‘Wish Date’ marks the debut of Boboy Garrovillo and Jim Paredes as they serenade longtime fans and new listeners with their timeless hits. This landmark performance follows their recognition as KDR Icons of Musical Excellence at the 11th Wish Music Awards, a testament to their legacy and contributions to OPM.
“It’s flattering talaga… kasi (It’s really flattering… because) the love songs that we’ve done like 40 years ago, [people are] still listening to [them] now. In fact, a lot of people are just discovering them now. So it’s nice for us, na (that) ‘Uy, there’s a new audience for us. So maybe we can last another 50 years,” shares Garrovillo in an interview with Wish 107.5.
The lineup also features indie/alternative rock band Over October, who performed a memorable tribute to Apo Hiking Society at the 11th WMAs.
Additionally, Baguio City-based singer-pianist Aquila Packing will showcase her talent. In September 2025, she performed her heartfelt rendition of “Porque,” originally by pop/rock band Maldita, at the ‘Wish Date: Love Tales’ special for Wish’s 11th anniversary.
Beyond the concert, a short film will also be featured as part of the production. It stars Vivoree, Joao Constancia, Lienel Navidad, and Shaun Salvador, with special participation from Susan Africa.
The narrative for Rewrite follows a love story that revolves around regret and the yearning for a second chance at love.
Since its launch in 2022, ‘Wish Date’ has offered live musical performances, as well as film and live-acting segments. Ticket prices for ‘Wish Date: Rewrite’ range from PHP 1,200 to PHP 6,300 and can be purchased via SM Tickets.
