M2M are returning to the Philippines, bringing beloved hits like “Don’t Say You Love Me” and “The Day You Went Away” to the Smart Araneta Coliseum on April 2, 2027.
The Norwegian pop duo’s return was first hinted at by Wilbros Live in a post showcasing the pair – Marit Larsen and Marion Raven – holding hands by their backs with the caption “Two. Coming Soon!” Today (October 15), the account posted the official concert announcement on social media with details that ticket sales will open on October 24 at 10 AM through TicketNet. Also posting on social media, the duo announced their upcoming ‘TWO’ Global Tour with the caption:
“We both knew, sitting on the floor backstage after our last show, that we had to keep going. What was dreamt up as just that – a better ending – ended up sparking a whole new thing that we can’t help wanting to explore.”
The caption referenced the duo’s ‘The Better Endings’ tour in 2025, which was a special moment for longtime fans, as it marked Larsen’s and Raven’s reunion following a 22-year hiatus. For Filipino fans, the 2025 tour was an especially memorable moment, as it included four shows around the country – two at Metro Manila’s Smart Araneta Coliseum, one at Davao’s SMX Convention Center, and one at Cebu’s Waterfront Hotel.
“The Better Endings Tour exceeded our wildest dreams.” Larsen shared in a press release. “We had no idea how full those rooms would be, or how natural and beautiful it would feel to get the band back together, hearing thousands of people singing these songs at the top of their lungs.”
With stops in Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Mexico City alongside Manila, the forthcoming ‘TWO’ Global Tour will see the pair embark on a new journey, while simultaneously calling back to their roots as two childhood friends who found a deep connection through music.
“In this new chapter, we dive deeper into what merging two very connected, yet undeniably different souls and songwriters can mean,” Raven said. “We continue to bring different elements to the table, as we always have, but it turns out this time around our shared vision keeps pulling us towards each other. There is some magic there.”
