After weeks of anticipation, Billboard has officially announced their Women Of The Year awardees for this year’s Women In Music, honoring the golden voices of HUNTR/X — EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, and REI AMI.
The news was announced by Billboard, where they announced that the musical trio will be in attendance of Billboard’s Women In Music ceremony this April 29, 2026, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, set to be hosted by actress-comedian Keke Palmer. “We are incredibly proud to honor EJAE, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI as Billboard’s Women of the Year,” states Leila Cobo, Billboard’s co-chief content officer in the official press release. “In a year marked by record-breaking achievements, major awards and extraordinary global success, they have not only dominated the charts, but also redefined what it means to be powerful women in this industry and on the world stage.
“In just the past year, the music of HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters has produced true global anthems, and the individual artistry of EJAE, REI AMI and AUDREY NUNA has been an inspiration for millions of young people around the world,” she further added. “We look forward to celebrating their collective impact, alongside the other remarkable honorees, at our annual Women in Music event.”

From breakthrough voices to enduring icons, each of these women is pushing the industry forward in powerful ways,” he added.
HUNTR/X being named as this year’s Women Of The Year comes as no surprise, following their global domination with their contributions to the soundtrack of the animated film, Kpop Demon Hunters. Their hit single, “Golden” (which stood at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100) was awarded at the recent 2026 Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Critic’s Choice Awards, and has also been nominated at the upcoming Oscars ceremony, set to happen this Monday (8 AM PHST).
