Cho Seungyoun made his initial debut as the main rapper of the South Korean-Chinese boy band UNIQ, which was formed by Yuehua Entertainment in 2014, before ultimately going on an indefinite hiatus since 2018. In 2019, the award-winning artist-producer joined the South Korean survival show Produce X 101, where he landed the 5th place position at the end of the season. With that, he joined the show’s project boy group X1, which disbanded on January 6, 2020. Since then, the artist has been releasing his solo music under the moniker WOODZ.
