This February, Cebu-based alternative rock band monopolice have announced that they will soon be hosting a tour across venues in Manila.
For their first show in the Manila tour, the band will be joining acts like spacedog spacecat, Goon Lagoon, and more for indie band Tether’s upcoming reunion show. The venue for one of their tour dates has yet to be announced; watch this space for updates.
Check out the schedule of shows for ‘el elefante’ below:
- February 20, 2026 – Sari Sari Bar, Makati City
- February 21, 2026 – TBA
- February 22, 2026 – SaGuijo Cafe + Bar, Makati City
This follows the release of the band’s debut album El Elefante on July 18, 2025. Inspired by Mali, the elephant in Manila Zoo that passed away in 2023, the ten-track full-length release tackles themes of isolation and how it forces people to sit with their emotions.
In an official press release previously shared with Billboard Philippines, monopolice vocalist and primary songwriter Miguel Granada shares, “The hardest part is the logistics of getting a group of five members together, all of whom have full-time jobs. Once we’re all in the same room, it’s pretty easy. The chemistry in the band is pretty undeniable. Also, our individual talents fit like puzzle pieces, and we’ve learned to trust that from the start.”
