Netflix Philippines celebrates 10 years as part of the Filipino entertainment zeitgeist in 2026 with a massive slate of exciting Filipino films and original series.
Since entering the country, the streaming giant has evolved from a global entertainment platform into a creative space for filmmakers, storytellers, and creatives to bring Filipino stories to a wider global audience.
In 2026, Netflix Philippines is set to showcase bold stories and unprecedented collaborations that push the boundaries of Filipino storytelling. Since 2022, Netflix has become a home for long-running Filipino drama series before they air on free-to-air television, partnering with media giants ABS-CBN and GMA.
The massive lineup includes five originals — three series and two films — along with two series from ABS-CBN and GMA, spanning diverse genres and featuring star-studded creators and actors.
BuyBust: The Undesirables

BuyBust: The Undesirables expands the world of BuyBust, the 2018 film directed by Erik Matti. The dystopian action-thriller sees returning star Anne Curtis as Nina Manigan, who is out for revenge and justice. Joining her are Gerald Anderson, Nour Hooshmand, Lotlot de Leon, Sol Eugenio, Sarah Lahbati, Eric Quizon, and Pauline Lopez. The highly anticipated sequel series streams later in 2026.
Balaraw

Balaraw explores Filipino folklore into the mix as an atompsheric horror-mystery series directed by Rae Red. Years after her mother vanished, Sabina (Janine Gutierrez) follows a mysterious clue to an uncharted island, where she uncovers hidden family secrets. The ensemble cast also includes Agot Isidro, Charlie Dizon, and Ronnie Lazaro. The series streams on September 24, 2026.
18th Rose

Xyriel Manabat stars in her first lead role in 18th Rose as a spirited teen dreaming of her perfect debut, paired with a lonely newcomer in town (Kyle Echarri), in a coming-of-age young adult romance set in Romblon that rewinds to the 2000s. Directed by Dolly Dulu, the film premieres on April 9, 2026.
Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon

Family drama takes center stage in Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon, which explores the chaotic yet heartwarming nature of a Filipino family. A television writer (Jodi Sta. Maria) returns home to her estranged mother (Agot Isidro), as they navigate complex family dynamics. Directed by Chad Vidanes, the film premieres on August 13, 2026.
Paskong Pinoy

An anthology series featuring four Filipino stories celebrating Christmas, Paskong Pinoy explores themes of romance, second chances, nostalgia, and coming home for the holidays. The series stars an ensemble cast including Angelu de Leon, Bobby Andrews, Rica Peralejo, Michael Flores, Bernadette Allyson, Ciara Sotto, Polo Ravales, Barbie Forteza, and Enchong Dee. The series streams starting December 3, 2026.
The Master Cutter

GMA’s latest action drama, The Master Cutter, stars Dingdong Dantes as a man leading a double life — tailor by day, bounty hunter by night. When he defies a contract, he uncovers a secret from his past and crosses paths with a powerful crime syndicate. The series streams on April 17, 2026, a full 72 hours ahead of its free-to-air TV broadcast.
Someone, Someday

On the ABS-CBN side of things, Someone, Someday marks the return of Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador to television. The series follows a woman, the CEO of a dating app that helps women find the right love, as she navigates her own life challenges and rediscovers the meaning of true love. This is the first pairing of Bernardo and Reid after previously being paired with their respective loveteams. The series premieres later in 2026.
