As the year comes to a close, fitterkarma have claimed the top spot on the Billboard Philippines charts.

For the week of January 3, 2026, break-out indie band fitterkarma have risen to No. 1 on both the Philippines Hot 100 and Top Philippine Songs charts with their viral hit “Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II.” The band have overtaken Cup Of Joe, who have dominated the year with their award-winning single “Multo,” which have stayed at No. 1 on the Philippines Hot 100 for an accumulative of 33 weeks and on the Top Philippines Songs for 37 straight weeks.

Beyond “Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II,” fitterkarma’s “Kalapastangan” also ranks at No. 3 and No. 7 on the Top Philippine Songs and Philippines Hot 100 charts respectively this week.

“Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II” first made their debut on the Philippines Hot 100 on the week of November 1, 2025 at No. 61, while it first appeared on the Top Philippine Songs chart the following week at No. 15. Initially released on Valentine’s Day this year, the single continued to gain traction online, going viral on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Most recently, “Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II” was also listed as one of Billboard Philippines25 best songs of 2025, alongside the likes of Cup Of Joe, SB19, Skusta Clee, and more.

Joining fitterkarma in the top 10 of the Philippines Hot 100 this week are Cup Of Joe, who sit at No. 2 with their hit single “Multo.” Following them are Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” at No. 3, Tyla’s “CHANEL” at No. 4, and Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” and “Man I Need” at No. 5 and 6 respectively. Rounding out the top 10 are Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” at No. 8, Soapdish’s “Tensionado” at No. 10, and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas” at No. 10.

While on the Top Philippine Songs chart, Cup Of Joe’s “Multo” sit in between fitterkarma’s “Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II” and “Kalapastangan” at No. 2. Soapdish’s “Tensionado,” and Loonie and Arthur Nery’s “Palaisipan” follows at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively. Closing out the rest of the 10 are La Mave and Nateman’s “Dominga” at No. 6, Kyle Rapha”el’s “Libu-Libong Buwan” at No. 7, December Avenue’s “Saksi Ang Langit” at No. 8, Arthur Nery’s “Isa Lang” at No. 9, and Le John’s “Naiilang” at No. 10.
