P-pop continues to cement its global presence as BINI, BGYO, and HORI7ON secured major milestones at the recently concluded 2025 BreakTudo Awards, one of Brazil’s biggest fan-voted award shows.
The Nation’s Girl Group claimed the International Women’s Group award. It topped an impressive roster of nominees that included K-pop powerhouses BLACKPINK, aespa, BABYMONSTER, ITZY, and TWICE, along with Thai sensation 4EVE and British girl group FLO. The win marks another breakthrough for the Filipino act as they extend their reach across international markets.
BINI also won International Collaboration of the Year with “Blink Twice (Dos Veces Remix),” their collaboration with Mexican singer-actress Belinda. The remix bested other major global collaborations such as “Born Again” by LISA, Doja Cat, and RAYE; “São Paulo” by The Weeknd and Anitta; and “I’M HIS, HE’S MINE” by Katy Perry and Doechii.
These wins add to their list of achievements in this awards show, having previously won the International New Artist Song Award for their song “I Feel Good” in 2023, and Best Breakthrough Artist and International Music Video for “Cherry On Top” in 2024.
Rounding out the Filipino victories, BGYO was named International Rising Artist, topping fellow nominees such as Addison Rae, JADE, and RENÉE RAPP. In the previous year, the Aces of P-pop earned the Song By New International Artist award for their single “Patintero.”
Adding to a victorious night for P-pop, HORI7ON earned Music from a New International Artist for their single “COLD,” released earlier this year.
First held in 2016, the BreakTudo Awards honor both national and international artists in music, television, and online content creation. Category winners are chosen through public voting.
