Novocrane are back with a new single, entitled “Moshpit.”

Released on November 21, 2025 (Friday), the brand new song from the Filipino indie rock act is notable for being heavily infused with electronica instrumentals — a sound previously unexplored in the band’s prior releases.

“Moshpit” is Novocrane’s third release of 2025 and fourth single overall, following the gritty and melodic “FOMF,” which came out on June 27, 2025. “FOMF” was co-written and produced by Luke April of hip-hop group PLAYERTWO, with mixing and mastering by Emil Dela Rosa, both of whom also assumed the same roles for “Moshpit.”

Notably, “Moshpit” is also the indie rock act’s first release after transitioning from being a solo project by vocalist and guitarist Kai Sevillano to becoming a full-fledged band sometime after the release of “FOMF.” The band’s full lineup includes Sevillano, along with Luke April on guitars, Zon Lee on bass, and Ram Alonzo of SOS and aries on drums.

The group has since been regularly performing at gigs around Metro Manila, with notable recent one being a Halloween gig at Mow’s in Quezon City, dubbed ‘Halimow’s.’ They shared the stage with fitterkarma, Matoki, Goon Lagoon, Fresh-Ill Club, Kampon, Pikunin, Yurei, and Dreaming Blue Flowers.
