Heads up, music lovers and record collectors! Discogs has just relaunched its mobile app — complete with various brand new features.
To mark the online music database and marketplace’s 25th anniversary, users can review their personal inventory, organize and expand their Wantlist, check the value of their records using real-time data, scan barcodes with their camera, explore trending releases, and receive instant notifications when a record they’re eyeing is listed for sale.
The faster interface and improved experience make it easier for users to discover new music, buy vinyl records, and manage and organize their collections on the go with a mobile device, making record collecting more fun and accessible. This streamlined approach helps both new and longtime collectors avoid the overwhelm of going through multiple apps and programs.
The app is now available for download on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
Founded in 2000, Discogs has long served as a go-to online database for music fans. With more than 18 million user-submitted listings worldwide, it has become an essential resource for audio recordings — covering commercial releases, promotional editions, and even bootlegs or off-label pressings across physical formats such as vinyl, CD, and cassette.
