Gloc-9 and Abaddon have officially teamed up to release an upcoming full-length record together, entitled Project A.

Its title inspired by the “A” in Abaddon, whose real name is Venzon Malubay, and the “A” in Gloc-9’s real name – Aristotle Pollisco, the forthcoming album from the two Filipino rap artists is set to come out on October 17, 2025 (Friday).

Consisting of 11 tracks, the album’s release is preceded by ten of its songs coming out as singles: “Dating Gawi,” “Halimaw,” “Taksil,” “Ambag,” “Kuya Cesar,” “Anghel,” “BLGBGN,” “Bonethugs,” “Kakampi,” and “Magarang Kotse,” all of which were released earlier this year. The only track on the album to not be released as a single is the acoustic version of “Halimaw.”

Produced by Cursebox, the upcoming record notably sees a number of featured artists on multiple tracks. Namely, this includes Abaddon’s group Shockra, Astro, Smugglaz, Hero, Arvy T, and Tuglaks.

During a media conference held for the album on October 9, 2025 (Thursday), Abaddon reveals that Project A initially started as just two songs — “Dating Gawi” and “Bonethugs” — but Gloc-9 came up with the idea for them to turn their team-up into an album. Adding to this, Gloc-9 recalls how quickly Abaddon came up with the songs on the album and how Abaddon gave him much needed inspiration with his writing. Abaddon, meanwhile, expresses how happy he is to have teamed up with Gloc-9 for this record, as he has always looked up to the Filipino rap icon.

According to Gloc-9, creating the songs for the album — all of which were inspired by their experiences — was “refreshing” for him, noting how he even he was surprised at what they were able to make. Adding to this, Abaddon reveals that he changed things up when it came to his songwriting for this album and became more experimental compared to his previous songs, noting that he wanted to challenge himself because this chance to work with Gloc-9 on an album was huge honor for him.

Meanwhile, Gloc-9 notes that Abaddon’s sound was refreshing, highlighting him as one of the artists whose writing and melody-making he is impressed and inspired by.
