With just a few weeks leading up to their new album’s release, Demi Lovato has announced the release of yet another single, titled “Kiss.”

The highly anticipated track’s release on digital and streaming platforms was announced by Lovato herself, following a cryptic post on their official social media platforms with the caption “let’s kiss… friday.” The news was met with a positive response from their fans (better known as “Lovatics”), given that the song was already played by Lovato at numerous listening parties worldwide, including at The Loose club in Los Angeles, her PAPER Magazine launch party, and at the Silencio club in Paris, France.

“Kiss” will be the third single off their upcoming album, It’s Not That Deep, following the release of “Here All Night” and “Fast” which were released over the past three months. The newly announced record is scheduled to be released on October 24, 2025, and will include a total of eleven tracks. The album’s cover artwork was also revealed alongside the main announcement, featuring the pop star front and center amidst a set filled with chaos.

It’s Not That Deep marks Lovato’s ninth studio album, following the release of 2022’s HOLY FVCK and her 2023 remix record REVAMPED. Both records saw the 33-year-old artist embrace her rock sensibilities, especially with their hard rock and pop-punk sonic palettes. Lovato’s return to the realm of pop shouldn’t come as a major surprise for fans and listeners of hers, given the smashing successes of 2017’s Tell Me You Love Me, and 2015’s Confident.
