YUNGBLUD and members of Aerosmith are officially teaming up to release a song together, entitled “My Only Angel.”

The collaboration between the “Zombie” hitmaker and Aerosmith’s vocalist Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry was announced on September 16, 2025 (Tuesday), teased through a short video posted on their social media. In it, Tyler and Yungblud preview the upcoming single, singing in a vocal booth together.

Notably, Tyler, Perry, and YUNGBLUD previously performed together last September 7, 2025 at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), where the trio did a tribute performance for Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. Featuring a three-song medley of songs by Osbourne, the performance kicked off with YUNGBLUD covering “Crazy Train,” followed by a rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Changes.” After this, Tyler and Perry took the stage to perform “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” joined by YUNGBLUD to duet with Tyler.

For YUNGBLUD, “My Only Angel” serves as the follow-up to his compilation album Beyond Idols, which sees him put together the songs on his latest album Idols, his fan-favorite hits, and his live cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes” from ‘Back To The Beginning’ into one special record.

On the other hand, for Aerosmith, “My Only Angel” serves as the band’s first brand new release in nearly 13 years after their 2012 album Music From Another Dimension!. Meanwhile, Tyler previously recorded “I Want You Back” — a collaboration song with country pop icon Dolly Parton — in 2023, which serves as the eighth track on Parton’s 49th studio album Rockstar.
