SB19 To Release First Physical CD In Japan

Add another milestone for the Kings of P-pop — SB19 will be getting their first-ever physical CD release in Japan and globally for their Simula at Wakas. Pre-orders for the CD begin today, August 6, with the official release scheduled for September 17.

The announcement came from CD Japan on X. They are the leading online source for all things Japanese entertainment, including J-Pop, anime, movies, and game music, offering a wide selection of CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and collectibles

This special release includes a lyrics booklet, one randomly selected photo card featuring a member of SB19, and the original seven-track album, now with a bonus track — “GENTO (Simula at Wakas Tour Version). It also includes a first press bonus; however, details will be announced soon.

Back in April, CD Japan hinted at the possibility of a physical CD release if their post on X garnered 10,000 reposts. While the post didn’t exactly reach the target, the overwhelming interest and passion from SB19’s fandom, A’TIN, proved to be powerful enough to make the release a reality.

After the announcement of the physical CD release, the album debuted at the top of CD Japan’s Real-Time Ranking chart.

The Simula at Wakas CD is priced at PHP 1,015.63 (excluding tax and shipping).
