In celebration of her vinyl album’s release, Clara Benin has just announced a special vinyl fan signing event for this August.
The befriending my tears (and then some) vinyl record is scheduled to be released this August 17, with the intimate event also scheduled to take place on the same day at Backspacer Records‘ physical store at Ace Plaza in Pasig City. The fan signing and performance by Benin will begin at 4 PM and is limited to only 50 slots, available to those who pre-order the vinyl record. Attendees will also gain access to exclusive merchandise that is available only limited to the launch event.
The highly anticipated vinyl release of Benin’s sophomore LP features the deluxe version of the record — including the original album track list, plus bonus tracks “hiding in the bathroom” and “all i do is cry,” and the demo rendition of “blink.” Pressed on one standard black vinyl disc, the package features the album’s original artwork featuring a new layout by Mia Claravall-Reyes, with a bonus 12-page lyric booklet, available in a limited numbered edition.
Benin first teased the release of befriending my tears on vinyl earlier this May through a video posted to her social media, which saw her receiving a test pressing of the vinyl from Backspacer Records. The Pasig City-based record store previously teased its release all the way back in February 10 with a photo of Benin visiting their shop.
Though fans who pre-order the album will be given first access to the event, limited walk-in availability will be open to the public, depending on store capacity.
