SHANNi Wants To Share A Secret In New Single “Sikretong Tayo Lang May Alam” – Listen

SHANNi has returned with a new single this month, entitled “Sikretong Tayo Lang May Alam.” Released on July 11, 2025 (Friday), the brand new track from the Filipino singer-songwriter was first announced on July 3, 2025 (Thursday). A laidback ballad, the song is notable for its dreamy, acoustic guitar-led instrumentals and confessional lyrics of yearning for a special someone.
“Sikretong Tayo Lang May Alam” serves as SHANNi’s second release of the year, following her funk-infused single “SSS (stuck song),” which came out last March 21, 2025. The new single serves as her fifth release overall.
In addition to this, SHANNi is holding special show in celebration of the single’s release. Also happening on July 11, the launch gig is set to be held at Aromata in Quezon City, with entrance available on a pay-what-you-can basis. The show will see SHANNi share the stage with Hey June!, Frank Ely, Levii, and Kim Leo.
Last year, SHANNi was featured in the On Record section of Billboard Philippines’ December 2024 issue. There, she discussed various topics, including how she turns pressure into motivation as an artist, making beautiful connections through making music, and rising above the expectations people place on her because of her family name.
