Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino is back for its 11th year.
Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino or Filipino Music Week was first established in 2014 by the late former President Benigno Aquino III under Proclamation No. 933, officially making it “the annual weekly celebration of Filipino Music all over the country.” Held every July, the event is spearheaded by the Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-Aawit (OPM) — a renowned collective of Filipino professional singers, with the goal of teaming up “with various artists and partners to promote and highlight Filipino music to the general public.”

This 2025, Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino and OPM are aiming to “organize a celebration that promotes the community and the collaboration of various music artists and other practitioners in the music industry.” With the theme of “Ikaw. Ako. Tayo.” (You. Me. Us.), Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino 2025 or LMP 2025 is set to be “a month-long music festival featuring different artists and styles,” with each show featuring “a set of artists who are members of OPM or collaborators of the organization” and serving as “a celebration of how Filipino music builds communities and allows us all to be proud of our identity and culture.”
In addition to this, LMP25 is also set to have “learning opportunities such as songwriting, music marketing, and music business among others to enhance the knowledge and skills of Filipino music artists.”
With this, check out below to see the events you can attend at this year’s Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino celebrations.
