Right before making their grand reunion, BTS have one more surprise in store for their ARMYs worldwide — giving their fans their first-ever live album, titled Permission To Dance on Stage – Live.

The K-pop powerhouse group’s inaugural live album will feature a whopping total of twenty-two tracks and captures the essence of what millions of fans experienced during their massive ‘Permission To Dance’ world tour. The setlist includes many of the group’s biggest hits, such as “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Life Goes On,” “Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)” and “ON,” marking their first official release in the live recording format.

BTS’ ‘Permission To Dance’ world tour spanned a total of 12 sold-out shows across Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, drawing over 4 million total attendees and viewers through both in-person concerts and virtual streams. Though the tour initially began with a ground-breaking online concert back in October 2021, it soon evolved into a series of massive showcases in various arenas and stadiums worldwide.

However, aside from the release of the Permission To Dance on Stage – Live, BTS will also be pairing the live compilation record with a special digital package titled BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul. The package will feature unreleased footage of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook performing at Olympic Stadium in Seoul on March 13, 2022, together with a 92-page interview photobook with behind-the-scenes memories from the concert. It will be made accessible for ARMYs through a digital card format that unlocks high-definition VOD content on the Weverse platform.

The celebratory release from the group follows the recent news of SUGA’s discharge from the South Korean military, following the completion of his mandatory service duties. He marks the last BTS member to complete his military service, hence making room for the K-pop phenomenon’s highly anticipated reunion and comeback, which has been teased many times by both Big Hit Entertainment and the members themselves.

In other news, several of the group’s members have continued to release under their respective solo careers, with j-hope recently collaborating with GloRilla for the single “Killin’ it Girl” and Jin having dropped his latest mini-album, titled Echo.
