Marina Summers is making her grand comeback to music very soon.
The internationally renowned drag queen-slash-musician has just announced the forthcoming release of her brand new single, titled “WALANG KABA.” “PARA SA LAHAT NG MASISIKIP, THIS IS YOUR ANTHEM!” said Summers’ announcement post on her official social media accounts. “My comeback single is finally here! ‘WALANG KABA’ is out on June 20, 2025, on all streaming platforms!” Alongside the news, the beloved drag performer also unveiled a 19-second teaser of the song, which showcased the track’s bass-filled, electro-pop production and revealed the song’s cover artwork.
The upcoming single serves as Summers’ first release under Sony Music Philippines, following her quiet departure from Tarsier Records over the past year. In another post added to her social media accounts, the 28-year-old artist teased more future releases under the label, stating “MORE MUSIC INCOMING” before tagging the Sony Music Philippines account.
“WALANG KABA” follows the release of Summers’ previous singles, such as “BORN TO DO DRAG,” “Divine,” “ride 4 me,” and the viral hit “AMAFILIPINA.” The latter served as an adaptation of Maymay‘s iconic song “Amakabogera” and was performed in the premiere episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. the World.
In other related news, Summers is currently on tour across the Philippines — performing at venues in La Union, Bacolod, and Iloilo, among other locations over the past month. She is set to conclude the tour with two more shows at HQ Headquarters Superclub Gensan in General Santos City on June 20, and at O Bar Philippines in Ortigas, Pasig City this June 28. Afterwards, Summers is set to join RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! showcase in the Flamingo Las Vegas in the United States throughout the month of August.
