Lana Del Rey is gearing up to release a new album, The Right Person Will Stay, slated for arrival on May 21, 2025.

Announced via a heartfelt Instagram post, the singer-songwriter shared her excitement about the 13-track project, expressing gratitude for the creative collaboration with key producers like Luke Laird, Jack Antonoff, Zach Dawes, and Drew Erickson. “So grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach, and Drew among others,” Del Rey wrote, also revealing the official release date of May 21. She also teased new music ahead of her April appearance at Stagecoach, beginning with a track titled “Henry.” “Love always,” she added.

The post tagged notable collaborators, including Antonoff and Dawes — who both contributed to Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd — as well as country music heavyweight Laird, who is well known for his work with Kacey Musgraves.

Del Rey previously hinted at the direction of her next project during the Billboard x NMPA Songwriter Awards in January 2024, where she teased a country-inspired album titled Lasso. At the time, she promised, “We’re going country! It’s happening,” and even previewed a dreamy, guitar-driven track titled “Henry, Come On” that may be the same “Henry” referenced in her latest update.

The Right Person Will Stay follows Del Rey’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 last year. With two top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including “Summertime Sadness” and her 2022 collaboration with Taylor Swift, “Snow on the Beach,” the alternative-pop singer continues to captivate both fans and critics alike.

In addition to the new album, Del Rey is preparing for a busy 2025 ahead, with an ambitious and newly announced summer tour set to take place across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The run kicks off on June 23 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and will make stops in Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin, and more, wrapping up with a headlining show at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium on July 3. Before that, she will take the Stagecoach stage in Indio, California, in April of the same year.
