Keshi has made his debut on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
On November 6, Billboard Philippines revealed its chart rankings for the week of November 9, 2024. On the Billboard Philippines Hot 100, “Soft Spot” — the fourth single off of keshi’s sophomore album Requiem — has broken into the chart, attaining a debut ranking of No. 68.
The heartfelt, electric guitar-driven “Soft Spot” — which explores themes of becoming emotionally vulnerable, open to love, and willing to do anything for a special someone — was released last September 12. It came out a day ahead of the highly anticipated release of Requiem on September 13, following the album’s first three singles “Say,” “Dream,” and “Texas.” At the same time, it preceded the official release of the fan-favorite “Kiss Me Right,” which came out as part of the special version of Requiem last September 20.
Most recently, keshi also released alternate versions of “Soft Spot” on streaming platforms, including an acoustic version and a live performance version with his band.
Keshi is set to return to Manila this March 2025 as part of his world tour in support of Requiem at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Find out how to get tickets here. The “UNDERSTAND” hitmaker was previously in Manila last December 2022 as part of his Hell/Heaven tour, wherein he performed for a sold-out crowd at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
As the date draws near for keshi’s highly anticipated return to Philippine shores, it will comes as no surprise if the tracks on Requiem as well as his other hits will make their own respective appearances on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 soon.
