The Corrs are gearing up for a grand return to the Philippines next year.
The band shared the news of their impending return to Manila on their official social media accounts, stating that they will be returning for a two-night show titled ‘From Manila With ♡’ which will be held at the Araneta Coliseum, in Quezon City this forthcoming February 15 and 16, 2025.
“Manila! We’re coming back,” the Irish pop-rock group posted. “2 Nights at the Araneta Coliseum February 15 & 16 With ♡,” the band said. Tickets to the show are scheduled to go on sale this Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 12 noon local time. Though no further details have been released with regard to pricing and whatnot, stay tuned to this space and at PULP Live World’s official platforms for updates regarding this.
The Corrs were recently in the Philippines last year, wherein they performed a two-night show at the Araneta Coliseum on October 21 and October 22, 2023. It marked their first show in the Philippines since 2001, which lead vocalist Andrea Corr noted during her performance. “It’s been quite a while — over 20 years? And we really, really wanted to come back from that last gig because the welcome you gave us was unforgettable,” she added.
The sold-out pair of shows was a massive success for the Irish set of siblings, with the concert turning into a collective karaoke experience that was simultaneously nostalgic and refreshing to the thousands of people who caught the show. With their upcoming return to the country, avid fans and listeners can expect the same (and perhaps more) from their show this time around.
