Cup of Joe and Janine Teñoso have broken into the top 10 of Billboard Philippines‘ Top Philippine Songs chart this week.

On the Top Philippine Songs chart dated August 10, 2024, a significant new entry into its top 10 comes in the form of Cup of Joe and Janine Teñoso’s heartfelt collaboration single “Tingin,” released last April 28, 2023. It moves up from the No. 11 spot last week to the No. 10 spot this week. When the Top Philippine Songs was unveiled the week of July 6, 2024, the song also made its debut on the chart at No. 18.

As they attain this achievement, the heartfelt collaboration also holds a significant ranking on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 this week, currently holding the No. 15 spot on the chart. Meanwhile, another Cup of Joe fan-favorite holds a spot on the chart, with “Misteryoso” being at No. 22.

For the rest of the Top Philippine Songs chart this week, Dionela and Jay R continue to hold the No. 1 spot with “sining,” with Dionela’s “Hoodie” featuring Alisson Shore also charting at No. 20. Immediately following “sining” is “Dilaw” by Maki at No. 2, while his other hit track “Saan?” moves up from No. 12 to No. 11.

Meanwhile, P-pop girl group BINI occupies the No. 3 spot with “Salamin, Salamin” as well as the No. 5-7 spots with “Pantropiko,” “Cherry On Top,” and “Karera,” respectively, while their track “Lagi” takes the No. 13 spot. Rounding up the chart’s top 10 are TJ Monterde with “Palagi” moving up to No. 4 this week, Eliza Maturan’s “Museo” holding onto No. 8, while Hev Abi’s “Walang Alam” stays put at No. 9.

For the rest of the chart, Filipino hip-hop significantly holds six other spots, with “Wag Na” by Realest Cram and CK YG at No. 16, “Babaero” by gins&melodies and Hev Abi at No. 17, “Burgis” by Hev Abi and Flow G at No. 18, “This Na Malambing” by Ryannah J and Nateman at No. 23, and “ILY” by Young Blood Neet at No. 25.

Elsewhere on the Top Philippine Songs chart, Over October continue their rise as “Ikot” moves from No. 14 to No. 12, while James Reid’s “Randomantic” also goes up from No. 16 to No. 14. Rounding off the rest of the chart, “Take All The Love” by Arthur Nery holds onto the No. 15 spot, mrld’s “Sandali” ranks up from No. 21 to No. 19, the Up Dharma Down classic “Tadhana” leaps from No. 24 to No. 21, while Adie and Janine Berdin’s “Mahika” takes the No. 24 spot this week.

Billboard Philippines‘ Top Philippine Songs chart is the country’s music chart that focuses exclusively on Filipino songs, spotlighting the most notable as well as fast-rising musical acts and their songs from all over the Philippines. On a weekly basis, it ranks the top 25 tracks in the country based on both audio and streaming data compiled by leading music and entertainment data provider Luminate.
