James Reid just got his first Billboard Philippines Hot 100 hit.

The Filipino-Australian actor-singer just made his debut on the coveted music chart, with “Randomantic” ranking at No. 47. This comes after his viral performance on the Baguio-based live performance show, Cozy Cove. Since then, the track — which was part of Reid’s 2015 album, Reid Alert —has made its rounds on social media, resulting in a resurgence in streams according to data collected by Luminate.

Other new entries on this week’s Billboard Philippines Hot 100 include Taylor Swift’s apt “August” debuting at No. 57, Rhodessa’s “Kisame” at No. 80, *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” at No. 82, Dionela’s “Oksihina” at No. 87, and Kiss Of Life’s “Sticky” at No. 95.

Last May, Reid dropped his single “Hurt Me Too,” which comes as his most vulnerable release yet. The track comes as his only release of the year so far, following a series of singles which he dropped in 2023 which includes “Jacuzzi” and “so fire.”

Billboard Philippines Hot 100 ranks the biggest songs in the country, based on streaming data (both audio and video) collected by data provider Luminate. The chart encompasses tracks by both Filipino and international acts. The Hot 100 is one of Billboard Philippines‘ official music charts, alongside the Top Philippine Songs chart. Both charts will be updated weekly every Wednesday.
