The new single serves as mrld’s first solo release after her single “The Fate of The One Not Chosen” which was released on April 28, 2023. Her latest release is the track “sa’yong sa’yo lang ako” which she performs with fellow singer and Billboard Philippines SoundwaveSoundwaveA Billboard Philippines media channel focused on audio and music-led content, such as playlists, podcasts, and sonic features. Prior to the release of “Lihim”, mrld shared with her fans, whom she lovingly calls “wrld”, a batch of concept photos as part of the lead up to the single’s release. mrld also previously teased the new song and its release date with a short snippet through a post on her X (formerly Twitter) account last February 5.
This announcement comes after the singer-songwriter celebrated her birthday with a gig at Jess & Pat’s earlier this week.
