The people have officially spoken — as Ashtine Olviga has been officially announced as the winner of the People’s Choice Award at this year’s Billboard Philippines’ Women In Music awards.
With the ceremony taking place at the Maybank Theatre in Bonifacio Global City, the prestigious award was presented to the beloved actress-singer by singer-songwriter Wilbert Ross.
“To exemplify the local music industry’s trailblazers and game changers, for this next award, we give the power to the people to recognize the most influential Filipinas in today’s music scene,” Ross mentioned before naming Olviga as the winner for the fan-voted category.
