KAIA are named the Listeners’ Choice Awardees for their track “Tanga” at Billboard Philippines Women In Music 2026, held on March 24 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines, the rising P-pop girl group opened up about how receiving this award meant to them as a group at this stage in their career.
“Hindi po namin ito in-expect, to be nominated alongside such amazing artists and women in music. Sobrang laking milestone na po for us (We did not expect this to be nominated alongside such amazing artists and women in music. It’s a big milestone for us.),” leader Angela says.
“We’re very, very thankful to Billboard Philippines for recognizing our hard work and, of course, ZAIA’s hard work. This one’s for all of you. Thank you for believing in us,” she adds.
Charlotte also thanked their beloved fandom, ZAIA, and all of their support, saying, “ZAIA, thank you so much for voting for us. Alam na alam namin kung anong hard work yung ginawa niyo para makapagboto. Sana di kayo magsawa sa KAIA, sa pagkinig sa amin. Mahal na mahal namin kayo. Sana patuloy niyo pa rin kaming suportahan.”
(ZAIA, thank you so much for voting for us. We know very well how hard you worked to get voted in. I hope you don’t get tired of KAIA and listening to us. We love you very much. I hope you will continue to support us.)
