Charli XCX and Tyler, the Creator star in Converse’s new star-studded “Love, Chuck” campaign, which celebrates the legacy of the Chuck Taylor shoe worn and adored by artists and athletes alike.

Narrated by Tyler, the Creator, the 30-second short film tribute features artist collaborators such as American rappers Lil Yachty and Vince Staples, and Chinese singer-songwriter-actor Roy Wang, while athlete collaborators include NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Olympic skateboarder Alexis Sablone, and skateboarder Zion Effs.

The campaign captures the shoe’s significant connection with the creative community, being described as “an invitation to all creators to not let the fear of failure stop them,” while staying true to their passion and what they love. Wearing the classic chucks became a symbol of representing one’s community and individuality. The design has been widely recognized and appealed to consumers around the world, adding a piece of their story to the brand’s longstanding history.

Converse has had a long history of collaborating with musicians for their signature sneakers, including music legends Blondie, Metallica, and AC/DC. In the Philippines, the brand has teamed up with Filipino musicians Al James, Kiana V, Timmy Albert, and Juan Karlos, for their respective campaign initiatives.
