Global group XG are teasing their next era with the announcement of a new single, “Depends.”

The seven-member act announced the upcoming release on their official social media platforms on September 14, 2026, revealing that the single will arrive on November 6, 2026. The announcement was accompanied by an animated teaser featuring a metallic payphone keypad dialing the word “DEPENDS,” adding to the mystery surrounding the group’s next musical chapter.

According to XGALX, the upcoming single marks “a new milestone in XG’s continued evolution.” The song is said to explore the uncertainty that comes with navigating a world that often demands straightforward answers, portraying someone who continues to move forward even while still searching for clarity. Through the phrase, “it depends,” the forthcoming track embraces the idea that some questions cannot be answered with a simple “yes” or “no.”

The news follows a recent run of official video releases from XG, with the music video for “O.R.B (Obviously Reads Bro)” arriving on August 24, 2026 and performance video for “No Good” dropping on September 3, 2026. Both tracks are featured on the group’s debut studio album, THE CORE – 核.

In support of their first full-length release, XG are currently taking their The Core World Tour across international stages, previously making its stop in the Philippines on July 22, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The Manila stop marked the group’s second concert in the country, following their debut Philippine show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 2, 2024, as part of the First HOWL.

Composed of JURIN, CHISA, HARVEY, HINATA, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA, XG are best known for their hits “SHOOTING STAR” and “LEFT RIGHT.” They released their first full-length album, THE CORE – 核, on January 23, 2026.

“Depends” is now available for pre-save ahead of its November release.
