In just over a year, BINI has charmed the hearts of millions of Filipinos across the nation — and with good reason.
The Nation’s Girl Group’s rise to fame has been a carefully orchestrated journey that has seen them transition from an underdog group to one of the most renowned and talked-about acts in the Philippines. Their first major concert at the New Frontier Theatre set the stage for their career, as they showcased their raw talent and determination. Yet at the time, it was clear that BINI had the potential to become something extraordinary but little did anyone know just how fast they would evolve.
From their intimate beginnings at the New Frontier Theatre to their electrifying show at the Araneta Coliseum last year, BINI’s evolution has been a captivating journey for both the group and their ever-loyal fanbase, the Blooms. Now, with a sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena — the world’s largest indoor arena — BINI has solidified their place as one of the Philippines’ most important and influential acts in contemporary music.
This concert, the grand kick-off to their BINIverse World Tour, was more than just a performance, but a declaration that BINI — once a group that had to fight to be seen and heard — is now standing tall as a powerhouse on the world stage. With an audience that roared in support and a stellar lineup of performances, the BINIverse concert was a testament to the group’s growth, unity, and commitment to excellence — showing that they were ready to conquer the world.

Given the carefully curated setlist that offered a blend of old hits, fan favorites, and teasers for what lies ahead for the group, last weekend’s BINIverse concert was an unforgettable spectacle that expertly showcased the group’s growth over the years. From the moment the concert began, it was clear that BINI was ready to give their fans an unforgettable experience.
With the help of a thrilling orchestral score, the show opened with a powerful and energetic new five-minute opener that led right into “Salamin, Salamin.” The performance was reimagined with a Filipino festival-inspired band, incorporating a blend of traditional Filipino sounds with an arrangement from the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth. This fresh take on the song, combined with a brand-new dance break, set the tone for the entire night, establishing that this concert would be something special.
Following this dramatic opening, BINI’s high-energy performances of “No Fear” and “I Feel Good” sent waves of excitement through the arena. During “I Feel Good,” the group used moving carts that allowed them to travel around the arena, reaching out to fans in all sections, no matter how far they were from the stage. This was an unforgettable moment, as BINI made sure to connect with each and every BLOOM in the arena — proving how much they valued the connection with their supporters.

The mood shifted with “Lagi,” a track that allowed the group to show off their smooth vocal delivery and flawless harmonies. The performance was another reminder of how well they had grown as a collective, leaving the audience completely captivated by their stage presence and ability to command attention.
The night’s momentum built steadily with the powerful “Ang Huling Cha Cha” and “Diyan Ka Lang,” where the group proved their ability to shift from high-energy performances to heartfelt ballads effortlessly. Each member brought something unique to these performances, showcasing their individual strengths while seamlessly blending into the group dynamic.
One standout moment came when Aiah and Stacey performed a stunning rendition of Destiny’s Child’s “Lose My Breath.” Their chemistry and vocal power filled the arena, and the audience was completely entranced by their flawless synchronization. The energy in the arena only ramped up further when Maloi and Jhoanna took the stage for their take on the Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up.” Their synergy and the emotion they poured into the performance were surely palpable, with fans cheering them on throughout (even reaching a fever point when the girls rested their foreheads together in the heat of the moment.)

As the concert continued, the group delivered powerful renditions of their earlier yet popular tracks such as “Born to Win” and “Strings,” highlighting their growth as both musicians and performers. BINI has always shown their versatility, and the range of songs from their previous eras reflected this. With each performance, it was clear how much they’ve learned and matured over the years — only getting better over time.
Soon after, viral chart-topper Maki came to bring his vibrant energy onto the stage with his performance of “Namumula,” followed by a stunning live rendition of the chart-breaking hit “Dilaw.” Clad with angel wings on stage, Maki’s vocal ability and emotional delivery had the entire arena in awe. These songs, which have since become fan favorites all across the country, were beautifully performed, adding depth and sincerity to the overall concert experience.
The duo performances continued to thrill the audience, with Mikha and Gwen delivering an incredible version of Camila Cabello’s “My Oh My” and Christopher’s “Bad,” while Colet and Sheena took on the challenge of performing Michael Jackson’s legendary tracks “Billie Jean” and “Smooth Criminal.” The audience was treated to expertly choreographed dance routines, powerful vocals, and unforgettable stage moments, with many people having their breaths taken away (especially on that last performance).

The excitement in the arena reached its peak with the first-ever live performances of “Kinikilig” and “Golden Arrow” from their debut album Born To Win, followed by “Karera,” making it a series of tracks that perfectly captured the vibrant energy of the group. These songs were crowd favorites, as the fans couldn’t get enough of the infectious beats and the girls’ undeniable charisma.
As the vocal queens each of them are, the group performed soulful renditions of their songs “Na Na Nandito Lang” and “Here With You,” which focused merely on their powerhouse vocals. With new arrangements composed to echo (and perhaps amplify) the sentimental nature of these songs, it further showcased just how versatile BINI are when it comes to showcasing their artistry in the live setting.

However, the real showstopper came with the live debut of “Blink Twice.” This song, which many fans had been eagerly waiting to hear performed live, did not disappoint. It was everything fans hoped for and more — catchy, energetic, and packed with attitude. The crowd went wild, singing along and proving that BINI are on their way to global superstardom.
One of the most emotional moments of the evening came when Billboard Philippines surprised BINI with a special plaque to recognize their dominance on the Philippines Hot 100 chart and the Top Philippine Songs chart. The plaque, which honored their achievements as the number one artists in the Philippines, was a testament to their hard work and undeniable impact on the music scene.
The girls were visibly moved by the recognition, with Jhoanna almost crying as she extended her gratitude while the audience basked in the joy of this monumental achievement. Such recognition was the cherry on top of an already incredible performance, affirming that BINI is no longer just a Filipino phenomenon—they are a force to be reckoned with in the global music industry.
As they prepared for the last few songs of the night, each member of BINI spread out across the upper sections of the Philippine Arena, surprising their fans in the area with an up-close, yet ultimately heartfelt performance of the ballad “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi.” Many of the group’s members were emotional as they waved, hugged, and said their thanks to the Blooms all around the venue, making it the most touching (and unforgettable) moment of the night for several of the fans in attendance.

With BINI closing off the show with a full-circle moment looking back to their first big hit “Na Na Na” to the inescapable “Pantropiko,” it’s undeniable that the group carries a plethora of hit songs that will continue to resonate and reverberate across the globe. For throughout the concert, BINI showcased a level of maturity and confidence that only comes from years of hard work, dedication, and trust in each other.
As BINI looks ahead to the international stops of their BINIverse World Tour, it’s clear that the girls are ready for whatever challenges lie ahead. Despite a series of technical issues, their performances were bold, ambitious, and fearless — just like what they’ve sung on their 2022 anthem “No Fear.” The world is now their stage, and with their loyal fans by their side, they are more than ready to take on whatever comes next.
With what they’ve proven at the Philippine Arena alone, there’s no doubt that they are primed for even greater success. For with their undeniable talent, their strong sense of unity, and their fearless ambition, the best is yet to come for BINI.
