ZICO is officially joining forces with Lilas (also known as ikura) of YOASOBI on a new single, aptly entitled “DUET.”
The news was announced by the South Korean rapper-singer and producer on December 13, 2025 (Saturday), revealing the collaboration through a video with the Japanese singer-songwriter where they discuss and listen to a snippet of the upcoming song. Prior to this, ZICO had been teasing the track on his social media through short videos of him working on it in the studio.
“DUET” is set to come out on December 19, 2025 (Friday). Watch this space for updates.
For ZICO, “DUET” follows “EKO EKO” — his collaboration single with Japanese hip-hop icons m-flo and Japanese singer-songwriter eill. Notably, eill was a former founding member of PLUSONICA — a Japanese cover group consisting of a rotating lineup of musicians, which Lilas was also a part of from 2017 to 2021.
For Lilas, “DUET” follows the release of her solo sophomore album Laugh, which came out on December 10, 2025. It follows her solo debut full-length record Sketch, which was released on March 8, 2023.
