Today (February 26), the fierce femcee behind hits like “SUBOMOTO” and “Edi Wag,” Zae, has come out with her latest single entitled “‘Sapababy.” In comparison to her hard-hitting rap beats, this new feature slows things down to sweet, downbeat pace. She had previously debuted the track at Femmes De La Musique in Poblacion, last February 12, teasing the single as her own unique spin on the viral staple, “SABAK DADDY.”
Zae’s latest release prior to this single is a collaboration with the 18-year-old power talent, Alex Bruce, entitled “A to Z.” In this empowering track, the two break down and dispel conventions created by the male-dominated field that is the local hip-hop industry. She has also recently worked on a special remix of her hit track, “SUBOMOTO,” with Downtown Quezon City’s very own Hev Abi, turning the confidence anthem into a declaration of their influence over the hip-hop scene.
