Today (November 14, 2025), hitmaking singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino has released her latest single, “Gusto Ko Lang Sumaya.” The pop/rock song is a raw and candid look into her frustrations with the toil of everyday tasks and responsibilities when motivation is low.
Furthermore, the artist will soon premiere a music video for “Gusto Ko Lang Sumaya” tonight at 7 PM. The video is directed by John Prats, who has gained acclaim for his work directing some of the most popular concerts in Original Pilipino Music. In an official press release, they detailed his collaborative input: “Known for his work in concerts and productions, John Prats joins Yeng in interpreting the song’s emotional core through a grounded and heartfelt visual.”
In the same press release, it was noted that “The release comes ahead of Yeng’s birthday on December 4th and her upcoming 20th anniversary in the music industry next year, marking another chapter in her journey as one of OPM’s most familiar and authentic voices.” Furthermore, the singer-songwriter shared in a post that “For sure, maraming makaka-relate dito (many will relate with the new song).”
Yeng Constantino has consistently been releasing music throughout the year, with her latest drop being a collaborative piece with alternative pop/rock band NOBITA titled “Gayuma.” Furthermore, the artist recently collaborated with rap hitmakers MC Einstein and Nik Makino on the single, “Mahal Kita.“
