The 44th MassKara Festival has kicked off in Bacolod since October 7. During the course of the festival, there will be major activities in store involving musicians who will play sets for the smiling crowd.
The 15 days of festivities will continue until October 22, when household music names are lined up to perform across Bacolod.
Coke Studio Philippines organized its own music festival on October 22 at the Sunset Stage at Bacolod City’s North Capitol Road. Sarah Geronimo and PLAYERTWO will headline the event, which features local talents like Ferdinand Aragon, the Aire Band, and Mojo Nova.
“Dedicated to spotlighting the Philippines’ rich musical talent, Coke Studio aligns with MassKara’s promotion of local and international influences. These two platforms unite to showcase local creativity that resonates globally,” reads a press release.
Similarly, Globe will bring G Music Fest to the City of Smiles.
Between October 20 and 22, the G Music Fest will bring the likes of BINI, Lola Amour, Paul Pablo, as well as DJs Ace Ramos and Kat DJ to Bacolod’s 19th-22nd St. and Lacson Street. Kreonz band and The Dukes will also perform along with surprise guests and performers during the event itself.
