Legendary hip-hop artist Loonie teams up with phenom Hev Abi for “XXXX” off Loonie’s latest album, Meron Na (We Got It).
The music video premiered yesterday (February 14) on Loonie’s YouTube page. Meron Na was released last December, and aside from Hev Abi, the record has features from Flow G, JRLDM, as well as Fliptop icons like Smugglaz, Apoc The Death Architect, Ron Henley, Abra, and more. The video sees Loonie grappling with the love affair of his girlfriend and her female friend.
Loonie announced the release of the music video on the same day.
In other news, Hev Abi recently hit the number one spot on the Billboard Philippines Songs Charts for “Alam Mo Ba Girl” (Girl, Do You Know), replacing his other number one track, “Makasarili Malambing” featuring Kristina Dawn. Four out of the top five songs are also composed of tracks from his discography — “Babaero” (Womanizer), the aforementioned “Makasarili Malambing,” and “Walang Alam” (No Clue). His tracks “Lil Kasalanan Shortie” and “Para Sa Streets” (For The Streets) are also currently on the charts.
