San Francisco-based dream pop band The Bilinda Butchers will be returning to Manila this December 6 for a show at TONO in Kapitolyo, Pasig.
The band will be kicking off their Asia tour in the country, which will conclude in Guangzhou, China on December 22. Tickets purchased online cost P1,500, while walk-in tickets are priced at P2,000. Tickets for the event can be purchased via Helixpay here. Discounted tickets are also being sold by bedtime television for P1,250 via Google Forms.
Interested attendees can also purchase a limited edition neon green vinyl pressing of their 2020 record, Night and Blur, which is priced at P2,000.
Cebuano shoegaze quartet bedtime television will be opening for the band as well. In a press statement, the band shared, “We’re really excited we get to do this! It’s not everyday you get the news that you’re opening for The Bilinda Butchers, so it was definitely hard to keep it a secret before it was officially announced!”
The Bilinda Butchers first performed in Manila last 2018 at the now-closed 20:20 bar in Makati. In an interview with Business Mirror, the band shared that they will be performing tracks from their 2011 mini-album Regret, Love, Guilt, Dreams, their 2014 full-length release Heaven, and their latest release Night and Blur, which was released in 2020 during the pandemic.
