UNIS are officially set to make their first comeback of the year next month. The news was revealed by the rising K-pop girl group’s agency F&F Entertainment via South Korean media on March 6, 2025 (Thursday), stating that the “SUPERWOMAN” hitmakers will be releasing a new album this April.
This will mark UNIS’ first release in around eight months, following their single album CURIOUS, which came out last August 2024. In addition to this, their label also revealed that the octet — composed of Hyeonju, Nana, Gehlee, Kotoko, Yunha, Elisia, Yoona, and Seowon — are currently preparing for an Asia tour in the first half of the year.
UNIS were previously in the Philippines last October 2024, when they held their first ever fan concerts in Manila on October 25 and in Cebu on October 26. The two shows were part of the group’s ‘UNIS In CURIOUSland’ concert tour.
A day prior to the Manila fan concert, the group held a press conference and met with Philippine media to talk about the highly anticipated shows and their return to the country. Prior to beginning the press conference, UNIS’ leader Hyeonju took the time to announce that they would be donating part of their Manila fan concert’s earnings to those affected by Typhoon Kristine (Trami).
Beyond the group’s growing fanbase across the Philippines, this gesture from the group was of great significance, as three of the group’s members are Filipino — Gehlee, Elisia, and Hyeonju herself who is Korean-Filipino.
