Tori Kelly is coming to the Philippines this August 23.
The singer-songwriter will be performing at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. Tickets are priced at P1,750 for Balcony 2, P2,500 for Balcony 1, P4,350 for Loge, P4,600 for Floor B standing, and P5,000 for Floor A standing. Fan club presale starts on May 31 at 10 AM, while Mastercard Presale will start on June 3, 10 AM. The Live Nation presale will start on June 5 at 12 NN. She will be joined by rising English singer-songwriter Maisy Kay, who is best known for her song, “The Storm”.
The tour comes after Tori Kelly’s release of her self-titled record, TORI., which was released in April of this year. In the album, she teamed up with Chaewon of LE SSERAFIM on the track, “spruce.” Other featured artists on the record include Ayra Starr and Jon Bellion on the tracks “unbelievable” and “young gun,” respectively.
The ‘Purple Skies’ tour kicked off last April 12 in Ventura, California. Her other Asia stops include Taiwan on August 17, Singapore on August 21, South Korea on August 27, and Tokyo on August 29. She will then return to the United States for the remainder of her tour.
Known for tracks like “Dear No One”, Tori Kelly got her start online where she released viral covers on YouTube in the early 2010s. In the past, she took on roles in the movies Sing and Sing 2, where she voiced the character Meena. She was nominated for Best New Artist at the 58th GRAMMY awards. She was also a part of American Idol’s ninth season.
