Thai alternative pop trio Tilly Birds just teased a possible collaboration with beloved Philippine folk-pop nine-piece Ben&Ben. On the caption of the band’s post, the Thai trio combined their artist tag with the folk band’s username, “birdsandbenmusic,” but further details have yet to be shared. Watch this space for updates.

This follows the band’s most recent visit to the Philippines last month, where they performed live for the radio station Wish 107.5 on the Roadshow.

Tilly Birds recently released their single “Never A Waste Of Time.” With “Never A Waste Of Time” and “Retro-39,” the band have returned to writing all-English singles, hinting at the release of a fully-English full-length album. When speaking on their new creative direction on “Retro 39,” the group’s drummer Milo said, “Songs are like people; they age. This song made us realize that we’re growing up, and that we needed to make music that matches where we are in our lives right now.” Read more about the single here.

Ben&Ben most recently teamed up with Moira for a new version of the latter’s track, titled “I’m Okay,” which was dropped earlier in July this year. The band have also recently relaunched their “The Traveller Across Dimensions Tour following the injury of drummer Jam Villanueva. Read more about it here.
