Taylor Swift Is Spotify's Most Streamed Artist Of 2023

Spotify just unveiled their yearly Wrapped, recounting the last year in music and revealing the world’s most streamed artist, song, and album. Taylor Swift is Spotify’s most streamed artist of the year, dethroning Latin singer Bad Bunny, who was No. 1 for the last three years.

The pop superstar accumulated 26.1 billion streams across the world since January 1. Bad Bunny followed Swift as the No. 2 globally streamed artists, with The Weeknd, Drake, Peso Pluma, Fied, Travis Scott, SZA, KAROL G, and Lana Del Rey rounding out the top 10.

Two of Swift’s albums also made it to the most streamed albums of 2023, including Midnights at No. 2 and her 2019 record Lover was at No. 7. The rest of the top 10 includes the likes of Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti at No. 1 with more than 4.5 billion streams, followed by SZA’s SOS, The Weeknd’s Starboy, and KAROL G’s MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO rounding out the top 5.

While Swift’s songs “Cruel Summer” and “Anti-Hero” were ranked at No. 6 and No. 10 respectively as the most streamed song globally. The most streamed song was Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” with 1.6 billion streams globally, beating the likes of SZA’s “Kill Bill”, Harry Styles’ “As It Was”, Jungkook and Latto’s “Seven”, and Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma’s “Ella Baila Sola”.

To celebrate being the most streamed of the year, Swift gifted her fans with the release of “You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)”. The track, which comes as part of Midnights, is now out on streaming platforms everywhere.

Spotify released their Wrapped report last night (November 29), which includes their highly anticipated feature that lets users review their listening habits in the past year.
