Stray Kids are set to make their return with their latest addition to their ‘Mixtape’ series, “Mixtape: dominATE.” This would mark their first drop for this year, and is scheduled for release by March 21, at 1PM KST. Until then, the fresh digital single is available for pre-saving here.
The single is a set new project in their developing ‘Mixtape’ series that has been in the works since their debut in 2019, with its predecessors being their 2019 work, “Mixtape: Gone Days,” Mixtapes 1 to 3 in Clé 2: Yellow Wood, “Mixtape: On Track” and “Mixtape: OH” in 2021, and more. The ongoing project serves as a means for the group to release fresh music that offer a new sound from the artists – and also serves as a callback to the eight-piece’s debut album in 2018, Mixtape.
This follows Stray Kids’ latest album release, HOP, in December of last year. Not only did the album contain the hit, “Walkin On Water,” and a collaboration with Epik High’s TABLO, “U,” but it also consisted of the solo singles of each member. On a similar note, Stray Kids’ Felix has recently teamed up with the J-pop hitmaker, LiSA for the Solo Leveling Season 2 Opening entitled “ReAWAKER.”
