LiSA and Stray Kids’ Felix Team Up For ‘Solo Leveling’ Season 2 Opening “ReAWAKER” – Listen

LiSA and Stray Kids‘ Felix have teamed up to release a song for Solo Leveling.

On January 5, 2025, LiSA and Felix released their collaboration single, entitled “ReAWAKER.” It serves as the opening theme for the second season of Solo Leveling – a popular action-fantasy animé – called ‘Arise from the Shadow.’ The season premiered its first episode last January 5, 2025 via Crunchyroll.

The collaboration between the veteran Japanese singer-songwriter and the Stray Kids rapper was first announced last November 27, 2024. It significantly follows the 2023 single “Social Path” – a collaboration between Stray Kids and LiSA that is featured on the K-pop boy group’s first Japanese-language EP, entitled Social Path / Super Bowl (Japanese Ver.).

The brand-new song is produced by highly acclaimed Japanese composer and songwriter Hiroyuki Sawano, who also serves as the soundtrack writer for Solo Leveling. He is best known for also having a hand in crafting the soundtrack for numerous other popular animé series, including Attack on Titan, Seraph of the End, Blue Exorcist, The Seven Deadly Sins, and more.

Following its release, “ReAWAKER” will also come out in physical format, set to be LiSA’s 23rd CD single that is due for release on March 5, 2025 (Wednesday).

Making her major debut in 2010, LiSA is best known for having provided the theme songs for a number of popular animé series. This notably includes the likes of “Gurenge” (Demon Slayer), “Crossing Field” (Sword Art Online) and “oath sign” (Fate Zero). Prior to “ReAWAKER,” her latest single was “QUEEN,” released last October 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids released their first ever mixtape last December 13, 2024, entitled HOP. Primarily produced by the group’s in-house production team and sub-unit 3RACHA (Bangchan, Changbin, and Han), it includes the lead single “Walkin On Water,” solo tracks from each member, as well as the song “U” featuring Tablo of veteran South Korean hip-hop trio Epik High. Last November 23, 2024, they staged the Philippine leg of their ‘DominATE’ world tour at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
