Sponge Cola Are Feeling The Summer Vibes With New Single “Liwanag” – Listen

Sponge Cola are back with a new single, entitled “Liwanag.” The Filipino rock band released the song on April 11, 2025 (Friday), describing it as a “feel-good summer vibes soundtrack.”
“Liwanag” serves as Sponge Cola’s first release of 2025 and the follow-up to the two versions of their 2024 single “Kelly.” In an interview with Billboard Philippines earlier this year, the band teased that they are set to release a lot of songs this year “very soon,” with frontman Yael Yuzon noting that these upcoming tracks are more “relatively upbeat.”
In other news, Sponge Cola shall hold a special, one-night-only show in Hong Kong, dubbed ‘Fizz Me Up, Hong Kong,” next month. Organized by Voltisz, the concert is set to happen on May 5, 2025 (Monday) at Southorn Stadium in Wan Chai. Tickets are priced from HKD 280 to HKD 480 and are available here.
