SOURCE MUSIC is opening a new chapter in its artist development strategy, with the HYBE subsidiary behind global girl group LE SSERAFIM announcing its first-ever global audition for male trainees — expanding its roster-building efforts beyond female acts.

The company officially launched the ‘SOURCE MUSIC 2026 Global Boy Audition’ on January 5, unveiling a dedicated audition website and opening applications for a three-week window through January 25, 2026. The audition is open to male applicants born in 2008 or later, with no restrictions on nationality or country of residence.

Aspiring trainees can apply online via SOURCE MUSIC’s official audition platform, submitting materials in categories including vocal, rap, dance or any creative format that best highlights their individuality and talent.

Founded on the philosophy that music with a clear origin and purpose resonates most deeply with listeners, SOURCE MUSIC has established itself as a proven hitmaker, having developed globally recognized girl groups such as GFRIEND and LE SSERAFIM. With this new audition, the label aims to apply its production and management expertise to cultivating male artists on a global scale for the first time.

To mark the launch, SOURCE MUSIC also revealed an official audition poster and teaser visuals across its website and social media channels. The poster features a spacecraft motif, drawing on space exploration imagery to symbolize the beginning of a new journey and the label’s first global search for male talent.

A promotional video was released concurrently on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel and the audition’s official social platforms, with additional content scheduled to roll out throughout the application period to drive engagement worldwide. Further details on the audition can be found through SOURCE MUSIC’s official audition website here.
