Slipknot’s lead singer Corey Taylor is heading to Manila for a concert this April 1 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.

In a Tweet by the concert’s promoter Insignia Presents dated January 24, they shared that the Manila stop is part of his CMF2 tour. Tickets are set to go on sale this January 30, 12NN via Insignia’s website or in TicketNet outlets nationwide. Prices for the tickets range from PHP 2,650 for Balcony 2 seating to PHP 5,300 for the Floor 1 tier.

The Manila stop follows his three shows in Japan — Tokyo on March 25 and 26 and in Osaka on March 28. In a Tweet by the singer, he wrote, “Stoked to bring the CMF2 tour to the Philippines & Japan this Spring!”

He was originally set to hold his North American tour from February 3 to March 3. However, on January 6, he announced that the tour would be cancelled.

“For the past several months, my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and I,” he revealed in a statement. “I know this decision will come as a shock for to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others — but after taking at where I am and where I was going, I need to pull myself back and be home with my family for the time being. Those of you who bought tickets and VIP packages for this upcoming run will get a full refund.”

The North American leg would have followed his Europe tour, which commenced on November 8 last year and concluded on November 24 in The Netherlands.
