Pablo‘s long-awaited solo album is out now.
Today, (September 13), SB19 leader Pablo has dropped ALON, his first-ever solo album. The album represents a significant milestone in his solo career, featuring eight new songs. The second piece to this two-album project, LAON, will follow suit on September 20 at 12 AM (PHST).
In this album, Pablo lives up to his “genre-defying” title, as his solo album depicts a raw story amongst varying kinds of sound. The album starts out on a gritty leg, with brazen rap tracks “La Luna” and “Presyon.” The tracks following after this pair of songs showcase Pablo’s vocal and songwriting prowess, as the rest of the album takes on a slower beat. Ending on a short and sweet note, “Breathe” is a fully instrumental track performed through a quiet yet soothing piano riff. With lyrics in a mixture of English and Tagalog, the album should resonate with all kinds of audiences.
To commemorate this new release, Pablo is set to embark on his “UNA” Tour. His first stop will be in Robinsons Galleria, Quezon City, on September 15. Following this, he will perform in Robinsons Ilocos on September 22, and will make an additional stop in Robinsons Laguna on September 29. This tour will feature special appearances from artists J2X and W3.
This follows SB19’s nominations for the BreakTudo Awards in Brazil — for ‘International Male Group’ and ‘International Music Video’ for “Moonlight” The group also recently dropped their music video for their collaboration with Pinoy rap legend Gloc-9, “Kalakal,” which can be watched here.
